HomeStep families manage their households on very tight budgets. Contributions of essential goods go a long way in helping families stretch their incomes and stabilize their lives. To make a donation that will go directly to one of the families in our program, please call our office at 206-812-8400.
Most needed items include:
- Items for welcome baskets (pillows, blankets, twin sheet sets, broom and mops, shower curtains and rings, shampoo, toothpaste, towels and washclothes, etc.)
- Phone cards
- Diapers and baby wipes
- Gas cards
- Grocery store gift cards
- Bus passes

If you have furniture or other household items you wish to donate, we encourage you to contact Sharehouse, a free furniture bank that supplies our families with couches, beds, dressers, dishes and more! They can be reached at 206-767-5280 or at http://www.thesharehouse.org.
