About Us
HomeStep provides up to two years of transitional housing and intensive supportive services to more than 400 homeless individuals each year. Transitional housing typically gives individuals and families an opportunity to stabilize their lives and increase their skills and financial means to afford their own housing and avoid becoming homeless again. Our Mission
To provide stable housing, supportive services, and advocacy to homeless adults, youth and families in our community.
Who We Serve
HomeStep serves families, single adults and youth as they journey out of homelessness on the road to a home of their own. We walk along side our participants offering intensive services far beyond 4 walls and a roof.
In 2009, HomeStep served 104 families (191 adults and 247 children) and 65 single adults. 27 families and 23 single adults graduated out of our program and successfully entered permanent housing.
